hifonics xxv sampson question...

can this amp be used for daily? or is it mainly for a comps?.....i know most people use the goliaths for just comps,......but i was told the sampson wont be good daily, it wil get to hot to quickly....(sorta like the stetsom..lol)

it is 8000 x1 @ 1 ohm......i was thinking about running the sampson at 2 ohms on 4 btl 18's....

i figured that i would have more problems than heat...lol...i will have the electrical to back it up......the truck might fall apart from beating it to death....lol

Maxxsonics makes great products but they are designed for music before competitions. So daily street music shouldn't be a problem as long as you have the right battery to power it. Under power it then you might have some heat issues.

its probly going to be a while before i get the sytem in my truck, i will let you know......

i have a 1977 gmc crewcab dually i have to do some work to before i go and put my sytem in there....lol.

i have most of what i need to install , minus the batts....
