Unconstitutional

Prox if you are for Wikileaks are or were you for Climategate? Just wondering because at least with Climategate that information was under the Freedom of Information Act to be released along time ago and they never complied with the order.

Man, if only you thought for yourself. You might be the one with the douchey youtube videos!
It is clear you don't think for yourself just on your stance that you want government to do everything for you (including to think). You are boxed in by your own ideology to say anything. You cried about my invalid arguments that were not invalid. You made an argument that everything was rosy under a time period and not under another and imply a stupid reason for it being so. You also triple dog fail because tax rates are not the economy and you keep falsely trying to tie tax rates to economic growth.

Also on the flip side with government debt, tax rates are not revenue and tax rate manipulation is just another way government uses to pick winners and losers (has no right to do this anyway). Rates do not mean more revenues either. If things are to be had at a better price people spend their money accordingly to the risks involved. People can buy and trade more things the more revenue , businesses and government can generate via taxes on what is actually done.Who pulls more revenue Macy's (high tax rate) or Walmart (low tax rate)? Prices are better at Walmart so people spend more money there. More revenue to tax = more money for the government. To compare this economy to 60 year old economies is like trying to get speed ideas for a current formula 1 car from an old model t ford. To look at just a tax rate and say its good while ignoring the condition of the economy and what is actually driving the economy is also ignorant. To have a good economy you must lead the way not fall behind.

And the U.S. had slavery for 87 years. I guess that precedent makes slavery fair, too.
Yeah, taxing rich people so they only make $400k instead of $1 million dollars is JUST as bad as enslaving other human beings, splitting them from their families, submitting them to beatings, endless work in absolutely horrible conditions, disease, **** and discrimination. Good characterization.

Actually, the point you refuse to see, or refuse to admit you see, is that the fact our govt did something in the past is no precedent for fairness. You really can be dense sometimes.

Your point is obvious. What should be even more obvious is how ridiculous comparing SLAVERY to higher taxes on the rich is. Not that it doesn't paint an accurate picture of your viewpoint in general. My point is that it's black and white that Slavery is a horrible evil, while taxing the rich more than the average person to combat homelessness or to help the average person live a little more comfortably isn't so bad.

Again, it just comes down to whether or not you have the compassion to care about others who are less fortunate than you. You'll of course call me an extremist to say that conservatives don't care about people, but that really is the only way to characterize it. How does saying that maintaining a rich person's ability to buy Ferraris or go yatching in their third or fourth houses in Florida more important than making sure everyone in this country has a roof over their head and food to eat translate into caring? Seriously, tell me, I want to know.

you keep falsely trying to tie tax rates to economic growth.
No, I don't. You're the only doing that. It's your position that Reagan and Bush's tax cuts stimulated growth right? I mean, that is the narrative Fox News and the right pushes, so that must be your position, right?

So to sum up, you are saying that lower tax rates will create more economic growth, yes?

Disagree with them ideologically or on principle if you want, but it's bullshit to say it's hurting our country. It HAS helped people, it has ZERO effect on you (and there is a lot to be said for it stimulating the economy). They only people programs like that have a negative effect on is the super rich. The end up only being rich, instead of super rich, or just super rich, instead of super, super rich.
Yeah, we're all going to take someone seriously who uses terms like "super, super rich". Do you even understand how this country is run? Like I said 1000 times, G20 summit. We are part of a super power that is the top 20 countries in the world that get together to have a little pissing match (meeting) about how each country is going to run. Ever wonder why every few 100's or 1000's of years each dynasty takes a dump and another one rises like clockwork? Wake up sheep.

Since government is public sector and the economy is private sector the more money left in the private sector means there is more money to be earned and not handed out by government. You can not ignore what is happening in an economy and look at tax rates and say "see higher tax rates means better economy" for the very reasons I have stated. You can keep up with you ignorant rant all you want but there is no direct correlation due to "higher tax rate means better economy" your argument means about the same as "pollution makes humans live longer".
