I really hate people who talk down about any religion

I have 3 members of my family who are muslim and if anything, I wish I was more like them.

They are VERY family oriented, Always giving, and all around nice people.

I really cant belive people are "affraid" of the muslim religion or arabian/indian people.

I guess people are affraid of things they dont know and learn what to be affraid of by watching the news

I would suppose what is really meant is that they pray in the general area they think Mecca is/should be and that is close enough. One of the posters acted like they have a compass or something.

In middle eastern countries, pretty much all large buildings (malls, etc) have a prayer room (or multiple prayer rooms) which has a wall facing mecca, where everyone goes to pray at the prayer times. If you think about it most people are at the same places around the same times most days, so its not like you're constantly trying to figure out which way mecca is, you just know for specific places like your office, your house, etc.

Its not a big deal if you aren't perfectly facing mecca or anything, its more the intention that's important, it's not like there's some magical shit that happens when you perfectly align yourself lol
