Uhhhh help?

Ok, I purchased a set of mq quart components... and I have a noob question. Do I need a 4 channel amp, or a two channel amp to power the mids and tweeters? I really don't know... they haven't arrived yet so I can't look at the crossover

you only need a 2 channel amp, both mids + tweets plug into the crossover and from there you connect 1 of the crossovers to each channel on the amp.

1 set of componants = 2ch amp.

2 sets of componants = 4ch amp

1 mid &1 tweeter=1 channel

the other mid & tweeter to the other channel

So you need a 2 channel amp

Thank you very much. I assumed it was one power input to which would be spliced by the crossover. Was I correct?
