uhh amp problem....protect mode

So i got a mm100.4 not that long ago and am just running 2 channels. I have the gains set at a little less than 1/2. Anyways, the amp never really gets hot, it always gets a little warm. One day i go to turn the music on and the music cuts out when i turn it up past like 15 out of 35.

Basically the amp goes into protect when i turn the volume up. Any ideas?

uhhh not really. Its like 60 outside. I thought about that tho...but the amp is pretty **** cool and its not turning off after playing it a long time...it cuts out everytime i turn it up

wireing issues? bad voltage check grounds and shiz and all that good stuff

might be wiring.

maybe the amp can't handle the impedance you have it set to?

hmm. Ill check it out. Its just weird cuz my kx2500.1 is fine and it's grounded the same place. But ill check the speaker wiring again.

Just rewired it like 5 times and it is still stuck in protect. DOPE. what the ****

Hmm, have you tried bridging the channels?..

what ohm is the amp recieving?

yup i tried wiring it up both bridged and just running 2 of the 4 channels.

Its ****ed up...either like 1 speaker works or they both cut out. And sometimes just a tweeter will work and sound as if it was blown out (but it is not)
