I was dissapointed in the truck as well. They tuned the wall of SE's to around 50 hz. When they played music it was horrible. You could smell cooked woofers from a distance. Probably playing well below tuning and clipping.

i was in austin last weekend, was it a good show? Monty usually has a good turnout.

It was a good show. Not as many people as past years. I blame it on the weather. It was suppossed to rain, but never did.

It was an ok show.

Lower turnout than last year though...guess the weather messed that up.

I only did 152.6 in mod0-1000 and 152.2 in Area 51, but that was good enough I guess. Should have been in the 53's, but I didn't position the box right and I was too lazy to move it.

The RE/USamps van was nice...164.0 in mod2k-4k.

The suv w/ the 2 XXX 15's was kinda sad though. The install was great, I'll give em that...but you could smell VC lofting from around the suv //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif And if you looked close, the left subs VC was black! Didn't get to hear the SE's though.

I tried to help the guy w/ the 40.1 trouble-shoot his problems. I think he was sending it a clipped RCA signal and killed the inputs.

Nick when to a kinetik hc2400 and gained 0.4dB over his workaholic...he did 148.2 at the show on 1 RD1750 and a DD9515d.

Hey canaan, if you don't mind me asking at what frequency does your truck peak at? Also what box position does the truck like? The reason I ask is because I also have an extended cab chevy.

right now I'm in a rebuilding stage. I currently have 2 DD 9515's in a 6th order bandpass. One drawback is it is very peaky. But the good thing is it hits very very low, on the upper end it lacks. In about two weeks I'm going to try a 4th order and see how it sounds. Basically I'll keep the one that sounds the best.
