Two XM issues

First off my friend has a 9855 and a universal xm tuner one of the orange boxes for an adapter to AINET. It worked fine with his X200 unit but the 9855 doesnt see it. Any suggestions?

Second, I have one of those skyfi units hooked up via aux but the input is very low. Is there any way to boost the signal without making it sound awful. (on the rcas before it gets to the HU) Or do you have a cheap alternative tuner that would use IP bus?
