two purposes for speakers in my van...

First of all I want to use the speakers in my vanbto deliver wonderful audio from DVD...secondlr. When the van is stopped and seats are turned around a 60" TV will flip down for home theater 7.2. Any suggestions on how to do dual wiring? Also, the walls and ceiling will have two inches of insulation. Canni work with that?

it cant be 7.2 if all of the sudden your fronts have to become your rears with the seats turned around.... Best you'll get is 2.2 all channel stereo. Even then when the seats turn around, your right and left orientation will be fked up.

In order to have any of that you'll need to run a 7.2 receiver in your car and have a DC to AC converter strong enough to power the receiver constantly. Because all car audio head units can only do 2.1 because music is recorded in 2.1 and no car audio head unit has dolby surround sound capabilities.

So you'll have to make a decision. Optimize everything for facing the rear or optimizing everything for facing the front. because its gonna be stupid seeing a car drive from right to left on the movie screen and you hear the sound of the car go left to right instead with your seat turning idea...
