ok for reference 2x12 type s's or 1x 12" type R ... if i go with one id probably go with 1x15 type-r but i was jw what would be your choice, one better sub or 2x lower quality sub... and would you think this would apply for any brand?

such as 1x MA Audio HK150XC

or 2x

12" 800W Dual 4-Ohm Subwoofer

and if anyone would explain why? and would an amp for 1x 15 or 1x12 or 2x12's cost more?

I would do the single setup simply because it is alot easier to install with wiring and car setup. And you leave more space which is always good. A ported 12 will be really good and most of the time it can be louder than 2 smaller subs.

i went with a single 12 (still in delivery actually) after blowing my 2 type-s 12's

i've noticed theres just so much more to gain when going with quality over quantity.

that and plus i'm trying a box from tcab which are typically large and i have a small tunk.

1 x $200 sub > 2 x $100 subs > 4 x $50 subs > 8 x $25 subs
With this reasoning, 1/2 x $400 sub > 1 $200 sub? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
