im not gonna force my opinions down your throat like some people here will, but...

dont bother with caps. i personally think they help. but if your going comp, dont waste your money on caps, get a second bat.

ive never gotten metered. im not a big spl guy. i know i know, ive got solos, so you'd think i like spl. but i bought these subs years ago, b4 i knew what i was doing.

no, sorry, but i dont want the w7 anymore. i thought it was rated higher. i thought it could handle the same power as the 13w7. my bad.

a second bat is really only useful for comps when your car is at idle when your shit is hitting. it just makes sure you got the power your amp needs for those 3 second burps.

ill let you know if any1 i know want the w7. yeah, solos arent good SQ subs at all. ive got a box designed for better SQ for them though. but i still want to get rid of them to get some REAL good SQ. thats y i want a w7. great SQ, and fiiiiine german engineering. im trying to go all JL and MBQ.
