can anyone vouch that the sd2.5 is like the hd3 but handles less power?

I would have to say that it maybe a lil more musical,but that could just be the partcular install I heard.I think they are the best bang for the buck,I think it is a few notches higher that say a L7 at a great price.

But I am weird,I liked my L5s over my L7s.

looks like i'm going to go with another SD2.5. now i just need to figure out which amp would be a good match for two of these babies.

i'm trying to get a pgx1200.1 right now just so i can match amps, but i understand they can handle a lot more power than that?? if not i am also thinking about getting another x600.1

anyone from the yay area know anyone that does custom enclosures for a pretty coo price?

2.5s are very potent, call dj and talk with him, the 2.5 is like the 2500, but more effiecent (same coils) and if you know about the 2500 then that gives you an idea of the 2.5

would there be any benefits on just getting another x600.1 and having one amp powering each sub over just selling my x600.1 and getting a hifonics brutus 1200 watt amp?

it'd save me money b/c i can sell the x600.1 i have now for $200. getting another would cost me $250. any other amps that would do good for two sd2.5 12s?

sorry for the thread jack but if one was starting over and didn't already have one SD2.5, would you guys prefer 2 SD2.5's or one HD3? price is similar...say with 1600 rms...

Even if its a process of saving, its well worth it, because the sound of the HD3 is going to keep you pretty happy Im sure long enough for you to afford the second, (hints the reason I ordered 1 hd315 dual 1.5 and I will wait until finances are good enough to buy the second...should be feb15th for the 2nd) The hd3s will handle more power, if you want to keep your power low then go with the 2.5s, but if you just want stupid loud insane rattle everything to pieces handle 1.5k each then you want the hd3s hands down.....

By the way I did however happen to order a pair of hd 2.5-10s for my sb1 testing purpose and as soon as nomad40 and myself get done building testing I should have vid **** on them.
