I want to run two seperate amps to power two seperate speakers, how do I do that if I only have one set of RCA cables coming from my HU? Are the output RCA ports on my current amp for doing this and if I do use those to like the amps can I use two different brands safley?

you might think about getting a y adapter for the rca cables....i believe they are fairly cheap and they allow you to run 2 rca cables from one output

You have a blown cap in the amp more than likely. Had the same thing happen to a soundstream amp.
