Two 15 woofers or one 18 woofer plz help

I have a one 2ohm kicker 18 hooked up to a memphis mojo 4k I've smoked two of them in a 6 months span. Can anyone tell me what to that can take the power that the mojo is puttn out. Should I go with two 15 woofer or another brand of a 18. Thanks in advance

You could get a 12 that'll handle that power if you want to go with a smaller woofer to save some space. What car is this going into?

sounds like there may be some other issues causing you to smoke subs , lack of electrical ,box to big ,or gains not set properly ,need t know what causing them to smoke first or you'll just smoke another

Box was built off of kicker spec. It set halfway far as the setting for subsonic sound an gain I really don't kno what should they be set on plz help thanks.

subsonic usually sets at 25 hertz ,gain needs too be set with an dmm or oscope to be set properly .whats your electrical look like ?

for that amp, a 350+ amp alt and at least 2 XS d3100's, or a bank of ultra caps...
