I've taken a big liking to the Sundown Z v.3 12' because the enclosure recommendations are spot on with my box.

My box is separated chamber with a shared port coming in at 2.3cu ft before disp and 66 total sq inches of port.

If you have a Z v.3 speak up xD

U cant get a pair of zv3s for 500 let alone zv4s ..maybe a pair of x.s Why not just buy 2 brand new hdc3s

I've been looking at HDC3 10's but I've held back because I hate foam surrounds.

I've got two Tantric HDD'S I'd let go for that + possible trade if you have anything of value to trade. These subs are about $450 each new and will take 2500w each all day. Your box is too small for 2 of them you'd need about double the box for most subs at that power per sub. I would also trade them for 4 HDC3 10" with carbon dust caps.

I think you got excited and forgot that detail.

The interesting thing about the HDD'S is how good they sound in a ported box on thrash metal. Deep lows and double bass reproduction you wouldn't believe.....hmm, maybe I should just keep them.
