Pretty straight forward question, i don't have any of the equipment yet but plan on buying TWO 12" Fi.Q or Fi.SSD or a similar product (DC, AQ, DD). I want to know for a sealed box application if there will be a noticable difference between SQ for different ohm loads

I'm looking at SoundStream TRX2000D

# RMS Power @ 4 Ohm, 14.4V : 1,100

# RMS Power @ 2 Ohm, 14.4V : 1,500

# RMS Power @ 1 Ohm, 14.4V : 2,000

ASSUME I WILL BE FEEDING 550 RMS/SUB at 4OHM and at 1OHM FOR THE PURPOSE OF ANSWERING MY QUESTION

Hell assume im not using this amp and feeding each at their nominal wattage at 1 and 4 ohm.

And yes I'm aiming for SQ and have 5V preamp outs

so with 4ohm less dampening is necessary i assume... so really i should just stick to 1ohm and feeding my babies as much power as they can handle //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

haha trueee...well i usually tune it down from the max to the point at which it sounds good to my ear.

ive looked on the forum regarding soundstreams new line of TRX amps....any additional recent input anyone has on them would be nice..
