is a 2ohm type-r better that a 4ohm type-R? if you can wire the 2ohm to 1ohm or 4 ohms, rather than for the 4ohm at 2 or 4ohm. What sub would hit harder? i want to run a hifonics bx1500d (specs)

1 x 500 Watts @ 4 Ohms

1 x 1000 Watts @ 2 Ohms

1 x 1500 Watts @ 1 Ohms '

if i buy the 2ohm subs i can bridege the amp at 1ohm there for running the subs at 750 each. is this correct. I am completely new to car audio and im just trying to find an amp that will put out about 700w to each sub. Can comeone help or give me an amp suggestion?

After carpet, ports, wood, interior coating, wire... glue... screws... it adds up, especially when your buying everyhing to just make the one box.

Or, just buy a great box from the start and rest assured the woofers are doing everything they can in the vehicle with the given power, instead of having to build a few boxes to get things to work properly, that is, if it EVER gets to the level it would have off the bat with the TCAB.

It does add up. I built my TCAB wannabe box and it **** near ran me $150. A lot of it was miscellaneous stuff, stuff I can't buy at bulk prices. I kinda wished I paid extra for the TCAB, but oh well, I'm happy and I like to take pride in what I make.
