I really liked my ts 1.3kw (now that it's gone). I just ordered a mechman 170a. Im thinking about a ts 1.8. Would it be much better than the cab1600.1 or a waste of money? If it's the same quality than the 1.3 I can't see how it would be

Depends if you ever plan on trying to run 14v batteries just below 16v the twisted does over 3.5kw

they'll be similar when it comes to audible loudness but the ts1.8k internals are much better built than the cab 1600 and will likely result in it being louder and more stable at low impedance and high voltage

the cab 1600 has its place, but the ts1.8k is a completely different beast
