Tweeters

I recently got a pair of Alpine SPR 60 and SPR 50 speakers on Amazon. They come with tweeters attached to the speakers but I was wondering if i should get an additional 4 tweeters to put in where the four factory tweeters are located in my car, or if it would be unnecessary. I would get the Alpine SPR 10s silk dome tweeters. The 4 factory tweeters are located next to each door handle and the four speakers are in the lower corner of each door (my car is a 2002 Saturn l200). Anyone who could help me out would be awesome thanks!

If this is what you have, SPR-60, they aren't component speakers, they're coaxials. What you want is this: SPR-60C if you want to stick with the same brand and series. You can use the SPR-50 speakers in the rear. It doesn't help much to have separate tweeters in the rear since you're not sitting back there. You might be able to keep the factory tweeters connected in the back, but I recommend upgrading the tweeters in the front. Normally we focus on the front speakers with more money spent on those, not 50/50 front and back.

Oh ok I might just return both and get spr 50cs and 60cs just because I'll probably end up blowing the stock tweeters in the back if i keep them in. Thanks very much.
