My buddy gave me some tweeters for free and I'm just wondering how I can install them. He said to just wrap the tweeter wires around my 6x8 speaker terminals like he does in his car. Not really sure if this is correct. I was thinking it would change the impedance and i thought the tweeters would blow without a crossover? Btw my current speakers are hooked up to my deck (Pioneer DEH-P4000UB 22rms).

doesnt it havw a little inline capacitor? If not yes you will blow them. Yes you can just wire them into your other speakers, you should be fine
