Does anybody on this forum remember or ever heard of a set of 6x9's called mindblowers? I got to hear some when I was a kid back in the late 70's. A guy I knew had a set in his car. They put out some killer bass or at least they did for its time. I do believe they came with their own seperate amp. It was like have sub bass, without having subs. Amazing back in the day. Just curious.
I'm not familiar with those, but I remember a lot of guys back in the day would run 2-3 prs. of 6x9's on the rear deck in lieu of subs. I do remember the JBL T-595's and the Pioneer TS-V69's being some pretty badass 6x9's.
