If your getting tweeters why not upgrade the whole frontstage? look/search through the forums for a nice set of components.

Are you running active or not?

LPG and Seas get recommended a lot for low-profile silk domes, and they're good down to about 3k...

don't your sonys have tweeters on them? How are you going to power them? Are these run off an amp?

Well-built component speakers have the tweeter and crossover custom tailored to each other... you can slap a different tweeter in there if you like and it will play, but it might not sound as good as a packaged component system in a box where everything is designed to blend seamlessly. I know a lot of people do it, but a lot of people do stupid things. Do you smell what I'm cooking?!

I'd buy a whole new set of speakers.

i bought them from a friend and they didnt have the tweeters in them, they will be powered by an amp..im thinkin about getting some pioneer ones..i dont feel like spendin the money on a full component set up
