i'm looking for something to replace the tweet w/ my RE 6.5's i don't think they are quite loud enough. here is some ones i found on ebay...

i only got about $25 to spend, if you know something else post it up.

one question...the sensitivity rating will tell you(more or less) how loud it'll get, right? my old polk tweets that i liked had a rating of 94db @ 1w/m, so that is what i was basing my search around. something around 94db, that could handle 70-100w.

If you really want some loud tweeters, then look into some infinity tweeters. ?They will get more than loud enough for you.

The infinitys are probably going to be the loudest. Ide go with them. I used to own some infinity reference speakers and their tweeters were loud as hell. YOu may like that.

i don't know if i can fit 3.5" tweets in my kicks, but i figured these would probably be louder...you think the infinitys would be louder? would they still sound good?

ok well i measured...no way do i got room for the peerless. i think i'll probably just trade for the infinitys, and get the peerless too. i've been wanting to build some 3way towers for the house. any other suggestions?

The infinitys sound good, they are just so loud though. That seems to be what your looking for though, so go for it. They killed my ears with the highs.

i finally got my tweets fixed //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif i was playing w/ the eq today, and no matter what i did the >~3kHz range was almost non-exsistant, and the little that was there was so distorted! so i put my ear to the tweet....its almost not even playing at all, the little highs that were there were so distorted cause the 6.5 was trying to play them //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif so i swapped the x-overs out one more time for the polks...WOW! these tweets are SCREAMING now!!! so in the end it wasn't the amp, or the tweets...it was the **** x-overs!
