Tweeters work but wont read on a DMM?????

pyle pro audio tweeters. i have had this problem for a while but it never affected anything so i left it alone. well now its bugging me. i have 2 tweeters, with a stinger bass blocker xover on each. then they are parralled together and ran back to the amp. well at the amp they do not read ohms on my DMM, and never have. But they work 100% and i just always "know" there wired to 4 ohms, (2 svc 8 ohm tweets)

Anyone have any idea why this could be?

It's because there's a small capacitor either in the crossover module or perhaps even soldered right onto one of the terminals of the tweeter which acts as a HPF. Capacitor is infinite resistance to DC current.
