Tweeters to HU or amp?

Hello all

First off great site! So I have a "classic" car with 2 6X9s in the rear and 2 6 1/4 in the front hooked to my Kenwood HU with a motor/exhaust that makes it to **** loud to hear my music once I hit around 70mph, so the other day I got a 1000watt 4 chl amp and hooked all my speakers to that and problem solved! I love it and it sounds great. However now I want to add these 2 tweeters and crossovers to the front of my car but I'm not sure if I should integrate them into my amp or run them off my head unit. any help please?

depends on the tweeters and the xover points of the crossover
