Tweeters ohm and crossover Q

I'm thinking of upgrading my ctx65cs tweeters with something else. From what i understand, it's pretty diffucult to find something for a direct swap while runing passife off the Image dynamics crossovers. Let say the cuts are made at 4.3khz /12db sloppe.

I tried my cdt tw-25 tweeters with my id crossover and the higher end sound fantastic , but it seems to lack alot in upper midrange. Somehow both tweeters got the pros and cons. I love the one coming with the id set better, but i'm thinking the different ohm reading might be what's giving the big dip in the 4-8khz.

id tweeters read at 6.4ohm, cdt tw-25 at 4.3ohm

So I ever want to upgrade to some higher end image dynamics tweeters , is the ohmage is as important as the playable frequency? would the xs-28 be swappable with those from the ctx65 set on the same crossover?

any other thing beside freq range, ohm and sensivity i should care about for a swap like this?

Vc-100?

I tried the vc-100 with alot of adjustment and nothing sound better than the id tweeters. Still missing alot of the lower tweeter range with anything else than the ctx tweeters

vc-100 read at 3.4ohm

The CTX65CS xover is a simple 12dB high pass at about 4500 Hz also I believe they are a 4 ohm tweeter with a dcr of around 3.9 ohms The resistors are just for attenuating level

double check your reading on the ctx tweet.
