Tweeters matched to amp?

Horrible title, but bear with me:

I have four sets of Cadence CWM-6KIT 6.5" comps in my Jeep WJ. Powered by a cadence amp...I can't remember the model number, but I have each side wired together to bring it down to 2ohm/side at the amp. Somewhere between 60-100 per corner, RMS, I'd assume.

Except the tweeters blew. Out of the four, 2 just stopped working, and two are blown. Really.*******.annoying.

So my question is, does the RMS rating of the replacement tweeters have to be higher than what the amp is putting out? I don't want to blow my load (saving up for a set of really nice comps and a nicer amp), but the Dayton ND-20FA looks alright (I have a dayton sub and love it, so this tweeter looked fine) - but it says 15W RMS - do I need a higher wattage tweeter?
