tweeter wires ???

i have a set of diamond audio components.... i have the woofer wired into the crossover right and the input on the crossover right, the question i have is which wire is positive and which wire is negative on the tweeter itself....... one wire coming out of the tweeter's shell is black/white and the other is solid black........... which wire should be wired to the positive on the crossover and which should be wired to the negative on the crossover ??? thanks,

black with white stripe = positive

all black = negative

i usually suggest trying both ways. one way might sound better. its fairly installation dependent.
