I've heard that myth before as well...I would size it according to Ohm's Law and be done with it.

Well, while I've heard of the law, I'm not familar with the formula. Again, we are looking at about 12-14 feet of wire to each driver (tweet and mid) from a crossover sitting next to an amp in the trunk.
