Tweeter sounds distorted

Hi all,

just noticed a small problem my tweeter's sound distorted while I stand slightly away from the front door (outside) but it is not so bad when sitting facing them in the seat.Overall I was wondering if it could be a phase problem or just that particular model of speakers (Pioneer 5.25 inch component speaker TS-C130R). Any help on this topic would be helpful thanks in advance

Turn down HP on the crossover/tweeter levels?

Did you set the gains properly on the Amp you are using? If you're not using an amp for the components I would strongly suggest one.
