tweeter question

I have a pair of coaxial speakers JL vr5.25" and I was wondering if I could add another set of tweeters on top of the coaxials... might be a stupid question but I was curious because the coaxials are installed fairly low on the door of my 2004 mustang. I should've got separates to begin with but I'm curious if I can get away with just adding tweeters. Thanks.

you don't want too much tweeter unless you like humanly audible dog whistles.

Wouldn't it be funny to install a shit load of tweeters and then drive up to dogs and blast music?
