Tweeter placement

In planning my next system, I'm going active and will not be using the stock tweeter locations in my truck, as they are off-axis. I'm trying to determine the best location to flush mount them, on the sail panel or the A-pillar. Let me know if either location makes a real difference.

use double sided tape and try every spot to see whats best.

Ahh didn’t think of that. Is there any general rule of thumb for tweeter placement? I’ve usually just used the stock off axis location.

lots of testing is involved. i suggest pointing them away from any relective surface before doing anything else.

general rule is to double side tape, listen to the whole setup and hear/see whats best first before installing.
