Its been way too long since I have done an install, and I forgot what to do here. I picked up a 1998 Dodge Ram truck. I ordered a DEH-X7500hd head unit, Morel Maximo 6 component set, box o' dynamat and I have an older Diamond Audio D3 400.2 amp to power them. I also bought some cheap Bostons I heard that I liked a lot to go in the rears for rear fill, those will be powered off the deck and probably fade them down a bit to my liking. Any who...
In the truck there are factory tweeters in the A-Pillars. Should I put the tweeters there? Or...
I bought a pair of 6x9 to 6.5" Speaker adapters(Scosche), should I put the tweeters in the adapters and just leave the stock tweeters unhooked?
I though I rememebr that you should keep the tweeters close to the mid range speaker as possible, but the way the factory locations are pointing the tweeters out, it seem like they would provide better imaging maybe?
Your thoughts?
