tweeter noise

i just installed my components and amp, there is one problem though, i am getting this static like noise comming from the tweeters. It is present when the voume is all the way down at zero, and it increases as i increase the volume.

Does anyone know what this could be and how i could fix this?

i hooked up the amp using the high level inputs, could i be getting a poor signal because i hooked it up with these?

please help me

disconnect the input on the amp and see if the noise goes away, if not try turning down the gain, if that fails, you may have a bad ground or alt whine, does it do it only when the car is running?

Sounds like noise floor of the amp. What kind of amp is it?

and it's a jbl gto 75.4II

Noise floor is the background hiss or static that you hear with no signal going through the amp. Sounds like you have a noisy amp.
