Tweeter mounting

How's it going gentlemen

Trying to figure out a way to use a pair of tweeters I have, just not sure how to mount them. The picture I took of them was too large to upload. They're pictured in the link below. It's listed as a 1 inch tweeter but measures 1 14/16 around tweeter, and is 2.5 inches long. In the back the diameter is 1/2 inch.

Was thinking about a U shaped clamp I've seen on the bike racks atop SUV's, yet sure there are many ways that it would work. How would you mount them?

Would really appreciate your input

here is one option using PVC caps and threaded lamp rod

he mounted them in the sail panels

Those look good. Does it take just 1 screw to mount them to the panel?

Really would like something similar to the those. Only exception being I'd try to mount without the grill cover. Really like the look of the tangerine wave guide.

If I were to use the 15 watts RMS provided by the head unit, that'd be plenty of power for these correct?

This will make the decision on speakers for the front a significantly lower price. Could just get the Hertz HSK components, at nearly half the cost, since seeing the passive crossovers available for $30.

Planned to go with JL, yet Hertz seems to be nearly a consensus. More

agreement with them than I can ever remember in car audio.

Especially on the HSK models

the threaded rod is covered with a brass tube cut to length so just 1/4" or 3/8" of threaded tubing is left. drill a perfectly sized hole in the panel (apillar, sail, etc.) and the brass tubing acts as a washer, a nut holds it in place.

spheres also greatly reduce diffraction which improves tweeter accuracy and resolves some phase issues.
