Tweeter going in and out

My tweeter on the passenger side recently started messing up. It will cut in and out randomly on songs, doesn't matter if it's a song with heavy bass or no bass....or if the volume is high or low. Could this be a poor connection on the back of the tweeter or to the crossover? Or is my tweeter blown? I appreciate the help.

did you actually check the tweeters wiring, etc. before you posted here? Id go do that..
No I just moved back to school a couple days ago and I left all my tools at home. I haven't gotten a chance to take the door panel off yet to get at the tweeter.

Well....I checked the wiring and everything was connected properly and now the tweeter produces no sound at all. I need a new tweeter for the premier ts-c720prs set, but pioneer doesn't have them in stock.

Well now the mid running off the same channel is going in and out on me. I previously owned a set of rsd's and both the tweeter and mid that was being powered off that channel stopped working....which is why I bought the pioneer set. Could there be something wrong with my amp? The driver's side has never had any problems.

It's a Sundown 100.2 if that matters. I just sent Jacob a message to see what he says, but I think it has to be the amp. It's weird because it's only the one channel that has been causing problems.....so I don't think I'm sending a clipped signal to the driver's side, just the passenger side.

flip flop your RCA inputs and see if the other side does it (ie if you swap inputs the speakers on the other side should fade in and out)

The mid is definitely blown. It barely plays at all anymore... Does anybody want a ts-c720prs set with (3) tweeter, (1) mid, (2) crossovers and a sundown 100.2 amp that might be defective???
