tweeter difference

I see that tweeters are made from different materials such as silk,alum,and titanium. What would be the difference? Is it according to the type of music you listen to? I listen to r&b, rap, and jazz. Also can anyone recommend a good component set for 250.00 or less

What type of power do you have to run them?

Deadened doors or no, factory mounting locations or kick pods?

I havent bought a amp for my highs yet. I am looking trying to piece it together. I will deaden the doors before the speakers are installed. The mid will go in the factory door location. I will have to mount the tweeters thus my blazer did not come with factory tweeters.

i love answering this question lol

a lot of ppl will say silk tweeters are more laid back than metal tweets which can be too harsh... this is too general of a statement tho because quality of the driver is more important than the material itself...my rainbow tweets are titanium and are not harsh at all..

but low grade silk tweets will probaly sound better than low grade metal tweets...
