Tweeter choices?

So i would like to get some tweeters soon. 2 sets of 1" tweeters to go with my type S door speakers...I dont want KRAZY expensive (not over $80 a pair)...or if something is good and $20 a pair thats fine too ...what do u reccommend?

I think they are still in the packaging and I've never heard them lol... wait actually i think my brother had a pair or 2 of the power acoustiks in his minivan... nothing particularly special... they're not bullets or horns or anything

Seas Prestige 27TAFNC/G - These are great tweeters. Tons of revies over at DIYMA if you want to read more about them, but you really can't go wrong. They have a fabric some version which many prefer over the aluminum, but madisound isn't selling them anymore for some reason. But either way, you'll be happy.

Tang Band 21-1719S Ceramic Tweeters These were REALLY popular not too long ago. They have since fallen off in popularity in favor of other forum boners, but none the less are still great.

Vifa XT25SC90-04 These are very nice for the money, but they perform better on axis.

Dayton ND20FA-6 Don't let the price fool you, let the reviews speak for themselves. Here's a smaller version: ND16FA-6

Vifa NE25VTT-04 I've been wanting to give these a shot just for the heck of it. Look promising.

Madisound and Parts Express have a huge selection of tweeters, so I'd take a look aroudn to see if there's anything that may fit your needs better. PE has lots of reviews as well, so let those help you in your search. If you have the component set version of the Type-S's and you're going to be using the stock crossovers, you might want to find tweeters that can play pretty low. I used to have a set of type-S's and they were notorious for blowing tweeters since the crossover point was rediculously low for some reason. I ended up making a small high pass filter to remedy the problem until I could get something new.
