Tweeter amp, adjusting gain

Hey guys,

Wanting to tweak with my setup a bit more, I decided to buy another set of tweeters. Along with installing the new tweets I want to re-do the gain on my tweeter amp.

What frequency tone do you suggest I use? I'm using the 880prs with its active crossover; current tweets are crossed at 3.15khz i believe. Should I use a tone higher than that? Turn off the active crossover completely and use a lower freq. than that?

Let me know what you think

Thanks,

Michael

I am switching over to the Seas 27TAFNC/G - recommended frequency range 2500Hz - 30,000Hz. So I guess a good starting point would be anywhere in between there.
