i need a tweeter that'll match up with my dayton rs180s. so it has to be a tweet that'll play as low as 2khz, possibly even 2.5khz...
any ideas?
any ideas?
Got em love em.Absolutely not on the LPGs. They are an outstanding tweeter, but when played below 3000 hz (even with a steep slope) they are just plain nasty.
The Seas Neo tweeter can play 2000 hz with a 24 db slope. With an 18 db slope you can get about 2200 hz out of them. They're cheap at $28.00, sound great, and come in either silk or aluminum. The aluminum is becoming a favorite for many as there seems to be no harshness normally associated with aluminum.
Basically no downside to these tweets.

Any other option will either cost quite a bit more, or you can go with a large format tweeter.
