Absolutely not on the LPGs. They are an outstanding tweeter, but when played below 3000 hz (even with a steep slope) they are just plain nasty.
The Seas Neo tweeter can play 2000 hz with a 24 db slope. With an 18 db slope you can get about 2200 hz out of them. They're cheap at $28.00, sound great, and come in either silk or aluminum. The aluminum is becoming a favorite for many as there seems to be no harshness normally associated with aluminum.
Basically no downside to these tweets.

Any other option will either cost quite a bit more, or you can go with a large format tweeter.
