TV looks like crap.

Wow i never usually post in this section, but right now im sitting in my basement watching WWE, and realizing how crappy my tv looks for some reason, it's all snowy.

The TV i have is a 50'' Sony Rear projection from 2003, and I have a digital cable box provided by adelphia cable. I have the cable going into the cable box, then via RCA type cables to the tv (red, yellow, white)

what can i do to improve my picture on the tv?

Could just be a bad signal from the cable

Is it a high-def TV?

What other outputs does your cable box have?

Did it just start doing this, or has it pretty much always looked like it does now.

use some component cables instead of rca if your cable box has an output for them. very noticeable difference

thats what i was thinking lol im a cable guy and thats usually the cause for a snowy picture is a weak signal, could just be a bad outlet, or homerun or the drop going to the house, but most likely its just the outlet, if its only one tv. you can also try using a coax cable instead of the AV cables

borrow or rent avia or video essentials and calibrate the tv

I would say it's a signal level issue.
