I have a 98 CRV and I'm looking to add a set of Tang Band Neo 5.25" subs (acting as dedicated midbass in the 50-150hZ range) to the factory locations in the doors.
I want to do the job the correct way(by NOT bypassing the molex or splicing into the factory wiring) and my plan is to feed the TB's 65 watts rms through 16 gauge or 18 gauge aftermarket wire. Of course, the molex connector is the problem.
I've done numerous online searches and I've yet to find a tutorial on how to tackle this job on Hondas. I've found tutorials but they've been on other vehicles which seem to have larger molex plugs. On my CRV the molex is kinda small and there appears to be very little room to snake additional wires through the darn thing.
Here's one of the tutorials that I found but this particular molex (on a Mazda) is substantially larger than the one in my CRV.

Can anyone help me?
