Turn signal upgrades

We recently moved and I now have a long commute to school each day on the highway(which usually has a lot of traffic). The rear lenses are dark red so the rear blinkers just sort of glow and are hard to tell that they are blinking especial at night or morning when the lights are also on. I want to get a second set of amber turn signals to put in the rear bumper to make it more noticeable. I want something clean that doesn't make me look like the back of an 18 wheeler trailer.

I found this on ebay, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=019&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&viewitem=&item=290101700865&rd=1,1 I know it's made for the front of another car but it's the exact look I'm going for. I would just replace the bulbs with amber ones.

Before I order them, does anyone see any reason why this wouldn't work?
