I have 2 ???'s. One: Where can I find the ft^3 that a 12 CVR takes up. I have looked on the kicker website but im not sure which number is the ft^3. And also im kinda confused about this whole tuning thing with the ports in a ported box. Without the subs figured in my box is 3.4 ft^3. I am gettin 2 12" CVR's and I mainly listen to rap. Ive been trying to use to port lenght calculators but im not sure what number to put in for the HZ im thinkin something around 28 or 30 but am not totally sure. Just wanted to get you guys opinion on this before I go buying ports. BTW thanks for all the help in the last couple days. Its a big help. Thanks again.

12" Kicker CVR displacement is 122.1 in^3 or 0.707 ft^3

Found on Kicker's site under Support -> T/S Parameters

You do NOT have enough room to port those.

The volume you enter into those calculators needs to be after driver and port displacement are subtracted out.

For two 12's you'd need four 4" round port, or about 50 in^2 slot port. Both of these are going to need to be really long, and make your net box volume VERY small. Do NOT do it. Just go sealed.

If you did have room 30-35Hz would be good. You probably have about enough room for (1) CVR 12 (ported).
