well, i built a box for 4 15" se's tuned to 29 hz and it sounds like ***. it's loud, but only hits one note hard. the box is 15 cubes with a divider in the middle for bracing which gives me two chambers each @ 7.5 cubes with each chamber having two 6" ports 19.25" long.

what should i cut ports down to to give me the best tuning for my subs/box?

any help would be very appreciated....

Run more port area. Replace those 4 6" ports with 4 8" ports about 25"-30" long each. Will give you a tuning of mid 30's.
I would say do the above.

You can also save money and use concrete tubes they come in 8, 10, and 12" sizes. I would fiberglass them or put some resin on the outside at the least though.

You could also just add another 6" aero to each chamber of the same length, that would raise tuning and port area.

thx guys, imma cut 5" off each which will give me 33Hz...i'll try that

and my box is solid mazzasec, but thx for the check move:)
