Tuning Sundown with DMM

Okay, so I plan on running this amp 80 hz on the LPF. amp has 2 output leads. my question is, what test tone should I use to tune it? Should I use an 80 hz test tone? 50 hz? 0 or -3 db? and when tuning this amp with a dmm since it has two outputs.. should I put the positive on one output and the negative on the other output (this makes sense to me). thanks !

EDITED: to fix my failure

50hz 0db tone.
Positive goes to the positive, as well with negative to negative obviously.
right but it has 2 sets of inputs for the ease of running parallel. since it has two separate inputs I should go positive on one set of inputs and negative on the other.. correct? thanks !

u put the DMM on the speaker output. not the rca input? if thats what ur saying? u put it on one set of the output. not one from one side and the other from the other side. do 1 side at a time. + to + and - to -

You connect the dmm like you would connect your speaker, also its a good idea to disconnect your speaker when you play the tone.

sorry I don't think I am clarifying my question enough

heres the amp

see how it has 2 sets of speaker terminals? it is a one ohm stable amp. the 2 sets of speaker terminals are for ease of wiring parallel. now my question is.. do I connect the pos lead of the DMM to the pos lead of one set of terminals, and then take the neg lead and connect it to the neg terminal on the OTHER set of terminals? hope this is clear. thanks

it makes no difference. The terminals are parallel inside the amp. you can use + from one and - from the other or + and - from the same.

Those are outputs, not inputs. That is why everyone was having trouble helping you.
