tuning for a single 10'' type s

hey guys i got a ten inch type S and would like to slide her into a high out put ported design a Sql box with nice low end.

it will be to alpine's specs [1.2 cf ported] however is it possible to get this thing to really pound and have a decent sq spl 65 sq 35

when using the box making programs they ask for the tuning and i have no idea what i should tune it to.

I listen to Metal and some rap like lil john so bass is a must but tight and punchy not as good as mega low for me.

any other info needed?

try tuning in the lower 30s

thanks man low 30 is what i was thinking too but always nice to ask if your a newbie.

oh hey guys so i went with two 12 inch type E's as im on a budget.

Also i still have my JL 12'' w0 so now i need two more tuning specs as the box making program needs them to figure it out.

thanks agian i was planing on setting up each type e in a ported box say 1.4 cf or higher so one can be on the left and one on the right of the living room.

The w0 i will throw in a sealed box and prob throw it in the 93 ford torus [ jealous?] running off my rockford 200z amp.
