Tuning Amp Gains

How should I tune the amp gains so that I can hear the bass loud and clear without over powering or distoring the sound? I also can't hear the midbass and lower bass notes. It hits hard when the bass comes in hard but the softer bass notes can't be heard too much. The options on my amp are: bass boost, subsonic filter, low pass, and input level.

Here are some starting points but you will need to fine tune to your liking

bass boost = 0

subsonic filter = 25

low pass = 80

input level = match to hu rca volts
