Ok so after 60 posts on my old thread i learned all the way up to tuning it and everything.
Played a 1hz test tone, tuning 4 6X8s that have rms at 75 and the amp puts out 75 X4 and 4 ohms so that is all good.
I turned the amp to high pass, hpf at around 100. Played the 1hz test tone w/ all speakers unhooked from the amp.
I tested all the ohms on the speakers. Had about a 3.8 average and the dmm did .3 ohm resistance, so i did 3.5 X 75, then the sq rt of that which was 16.202 So i tuned chan 1, ended up with gain all the way up and treble about half, giving 16.303 volts which isn't bad. Then i go to channel 2 and it tells me im getting 18.1 volts or something like that.. Wtf?
So i go do channel 3, same thing, get 16.25 something, and then 17 something on channel 4. Why does it do this.
Should i tune it in bridged mode and just double the 16.2 so i get 32.4 and tune them together or what? I'm Stumped. I have my front speakers on channel one and two and my rears on 3 and 4 if that makes a difference. Any help would be appreciated. ASAP
