Question

I had 2 kicker cvr 12's and was runing them off a sundown 1200 amp. I had the gains set propwely and everything. I recently replaced the two kickers with 2 audioque sd12's . I wired everything up started it up and they sound bad.

Question is, do I need to reset my gains and all that?

yea, i have the same amp, check it over, u change your box? cuz that might b a issue and the subsonic might not b set right. more info please, did u have ported box befor? what box u have what is it tune to? any volt drop issues?

The box is the same I was using for the kickers its about 4.2 cuft tuned at 34hz. Do I just need to reset my gains?

i would say so.

Prolly that and get a new box built to specs for the subs.
