Well I bridged my PPI pc 4400.2 and ran it off the ouputs of my sax 100.4. I used some y- cables to connect to all 4 channels. Amp is wired to do 200 x 2 @ 4ohm, I checked the ohm load with my dmm and they are wired fine.

Well I can't seem to get the comps tuned in...I'm terrible at tuning and lookin for some help. One side is gettin more mids than the other, and the tweet on one side won't play, the other side has no mids, and the tweet doesn't get loud. Everything is all screwed up.

BTW I have a pioneer 880, if ya could tell me what to set the settings at and cross them would be nice. Right now they are set at a 12db slope @ 100 hz.

Here are some pics, of the kick panels and the amp end with setting...lookin to get help on what to set things to. Thanks guys.

have you tried flipping the cables to the other side? you may be having a cable problem. meaning rca's. also try bypassing the sundown amp and see wat happens.
I have bypassed the amp, but seems to be the same...never bridged a 4 channel for comps b4, but everything is wired right

how do you have the 880 rca outs setup as? is it high mid low or front rear sub?
I'm pretty sure it is front rear, sub

I ran a 4 channel rca off it's outputs and thats ran to my sax 100.4, and there is a 2 channel rca ran off the sub output to my crossfire

nice kicks
thanks, but worthless if I can't tune em right //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

the kicks are nice tho, solid, and fit well...hopefully I get to see how bad the ID's make em rattle...but they should be good

you need to check all your wiring. make sure nothing is out of phase and no wires are "switched". if all else fails try one speaker at a time and see what ahppens.
what do you mean switched? Should I take my hu out and make sure the rca's match up?

and could ya give me some help on tuning the amp, and what the hu should be.

there is a pic of the amp above...thanks for all this help

anywya i only skimmed your post before but you're saaying how one mid is louder than the other, one tweeter is louder.. ect.. welcome to the world of car audio.. you can never get it *perfect* usually cause of where you sit...

the best thing i can recommend is either one 30 channel EQ (which is what id id) or if i did it over again i would get two 15 channel eq's for each side... or evne better two 30 channels.. get a mic.. rta software (i use true RTA) and a laptop.. have fun =]

it will make a world of difference

well I only read a bit of yur post...but I got my ear right next to the mid and tweet and listened that way, if you sit in the driver seat or something you cannot tell they are working...my ID coaxials over power these things...

they're probaly just mroe efficient... wire a resistor in series with them if you need to turn down the coax's.. if you cant control them individually
